 Whats so special about this photo is that I saw a very interesting logo! Have you seen it at first glance? It caught my attention. Well, for you to know, our Bio400 class had a documentary viewing recently and it is all about Animal Cruelty entitled "Earthlings". The documentary made me cry in pity of the suffering animals that have been occurring throughout these years. Then I saw a logo on my liquid foundation that I bought...Cruelty Free! It made me happy. Have you seen it? ;) BTW, the liquid make-up is from LA Colors.

 I've been drowning in chocolates ever since I stayed and arrived from Manila. Well actually I had more of kinds and kinds chocolates but I no longer have a photo of them...I gave them away cos our fridge has been totally loaded!

 My hair was naturally wavy until I had it treated. Oh what regret! LOL

The outfit I wore when I attended SOUL Lifestyle's 1st Blogger Soiree. Happened this 7th of January 2012! I don't have much to say in regards to this outfit. However, it's obvious that I sticked into four primary colors. 2 major colors which are a shade of Gray and White and 2 minor colors having the shade of Gold and Black.

It was indeed a very lovely Style Challenge (diad) + Meet and Greet blog readers, some more bloggers and followers! The Styling Challenge was really a tough challenged since it has a time limit! I and Kwesh changed for 2 to 3 times as well as the others...until finally we decided to present our piece. Our looks should be a representation of Cheyser of The Walking Recessionista  plus personal touch. It was also a contest at the same time...whoever wins will be winning a GC from SOUL! The store was indeed busy and gladly, readers and people went flowing in the store until we were finished! The fun didn't end there...

We attended a Fashion Show after the Styling Challenge together with fellow bloggers... thanks Mimi Tupas of SOUL Lifestyle for our VIP Passes XOXO ♥ 

Part of the Runway Fashion Preview 2012, were food cocktails and drinks! We were indeed glas. Oh sadly I wasn't able to take photos of the food there in the Fashion Show. Great cocktails! :* We truly enjoyed as well as the show! 

The Show started then... sadly, I dont have much photos of the Fashion Show since my camera battery drained! :( @.@ The Fashion show ended around 8PM. We really had a GREAT day!

Two-toned

My wash-day school look! Found this easy, comfortable and simple! Had Jeffery Campbell inspired foxy heels from Primadonna (I really love!) and made me think of a two-toned outfit. Colors revolving only in brown and black. Apparently and coincidentally, my shoes and bags matched! And So my outfit followed including pretty and lovely bangles/cuffs from SOUL Lifestyle! The lovely fringed earrings that I bought from Febrile Chic! Hope you like my over-all outfit post!

Thrifted

 Do you have an old top that you wore for a couple of times and don't want to wear it back because it has been to obvious of you wearing it repetitiously? Make it look different! Since you ran out of style or clothes to match your certain top or clothes, giving it a different look would probably help you out! Thrifted clothing may not be new to you, however let me share to you what I have done this past few hours. 

For months of thinking, I finally decided that I want to make a bottomed fringe top. (Since I saw Kristine had been brave enough to thrift her clothes...so it motivated me!) So I picked this long top or shall I say mini dress to be thrifted! Maybe some of you think that I should've kept it as what it is. Well, I have my own reasons. Hehe!

I chose the easier way of doing it so I just needed 2 materials. Scissors; make sure that it is sharp enough to cut the cloth. It is faster, much easier and produces desired outcome. The next thing you'll need is Tape; this served as my guide. Just lay one straight line horizontal line. You can use anything! Or if you are to confident in producing a straight outcome you can use none :)  Now you're ready to do the vertical cutting! Well for me, since it is a bit ragged looking, just have fun cutting...doesn't necessarily need to be intricate and perfect. 

  

And finally I'm done within a few minutes!:) Soon I'll be posting a look wearing this one!

I had this over-sized top given to me by Fred few months ago. At first I wasn't able to appreciate it. Then I realized that it is nice! Before finalizing my outfit, I underwent trial-and-error test until finally I came up with this outfit. Luckily, I had that animal printed bag and that black skort (skirt+short) given to me by my dad long time ago! So it made up my whole outfit. I didn't even used accessories to avoid over-dressing.

A little something about SOUL? Well to be honest. SOUL is one of my favorite clothing shop even when I wasn't still into the world of blogging. Fresh in my thoughts, I was 13 way back then and I kept on going there in their branch in G-Mall! Ever since, SOUL really provides GREAT fashion finds!

Being invited on a Bloggers' Soiree made my eyes wide open and made my jaw drop! Farrah Garcia sent me a message in regards to this event and I was like "OMG, is this real?" Well of course, as a first timer and most especially here in Davao, that for the 1st time ever is having a Fashion Bloggers' Soiree and I'm one of the bloggers invited! GREAT!;) Im in, whatever the circumstance may be! I totally said YES. 

The day came and I was excited at the same time nervous! I wore heels a mini dress and a blazer. Went together with Kristine Villano of Kweshie Doodles and at arrived around 12:50NN. Since the Soiree will start at 1PM! In great surprise, the other bloggers are not yet around... only Mimi Tupas of SOUL Lifestyle/365 Days With A Pink Mother, Cheyser Pedregosa of The Walking Recessionista and Farrah Garcia of  LayeredVintage Luxe were there. "Were we too early?" we thought! Together with them, we ate lunch at Pancake House. Followed Aidx Paredes of Young Blood  and Mia Durano of Hand Made Turban. Went back to Maitre Chocolatier to have our Soiree proper there. Amazed with the set-up, I was like a small child seeing a magic trick! So on, I met other fellow bloggers. Wilson and Pat of Style Zodiac, Kyrie of Kyrie Kouture, Steph of Stephanie Suarez Chu. Had a great and inspirational talk there, happy eating, too! SOUL Lifestyle, Mimi Tupas and Cheyser inspired us so much! The whole Soiree was indeed a success!
